Welcome to SOS Hermann Gmeiner Schools Nigeria. For over two decades, we continue to provide quality education in a loving and secured learning environment. As a school, we pride ourselves on the fact that we focus on the child first irrespective of his or her individual differences and offering them learning experiences that empowered them to participate actively in the development of their society.
We offer a choice of the three fantastic school education in Nigeria for children aged 3-14, giving us the ability to provide parents with a schooling option for their children that work best for them. We offer a flexible blend of both the Nigeria National Curriculum and the British Curriculum, given our students the flexibility to achieve more than they thought possible. We enjoy involving parents and the wider community in the life of the school, ensuring the links between the school and home are strong and support our pupils learning.
This is just the beginning of a journey that promises to be filled with happy school memories. Our ever caring team and I are proud of our schools and will be happy to receive you should you decide to visit any of our schools. We are currently in four locations in the country: Isolo in Lagos, Owu-Ijebu in Ogun, Gwagwalada in the FCT and Jos in Plateau.
We strongly believes in quality education as the means to break the cycle of marginalisation, poverty, violence and family breakdown, as it helps children to develop the necessary capabilities they need to live a life in dignity, with respect, and empowered to participate actively in their society. We therefore assure the access to quality education for all children, regardless of gender, ethnicity, faith, abilities, health or any other attribute.
To raise world leaders who are empowered to participate actively in the development of their Societies.
To provide access to quality education to the boy and girl child irrespective of his or her individual differences in a loving and secured learning environment.

Each segment has its own unique curriculum based on the Montessori and Froebel Philosophies.
The HGPS is for children between 6-12years, the setting is specifically designed to meets the need of the developing child, who is moving from an environment of concrete learning experiences to a more abstract learning environment. The primary school curriculum is broad and incorporates both the Nigerian National Curriculum and the British Curriculum.
The HGJSS is an e-learning environment for student between 13-15years; it’s a co-educational but nonresidential school with the aim to raise well-versed students who are proudly Nigerian, able to express themselves and their culture in any environment either locally or internationally. The environment is technologically paced to the comfort of all students; teaching is enhanced in all classrooms by the use of Interactive White Board.
