About Us
SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria is one of the Member Associations that make up the SOS Children’s Villages International Federation. The organization was founded in 1949, in Austria and has since spread and active in 136 countries and territories.
SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria was founded in Lagos in 1973 after the Civil War and since then, its operations have spread across the country. We currently have presence in 12 states namely Lagos, Ogun, Abuja, Plateau, Borno, Edo, Oyo, Kwara, Abia, Imo, Bayelsa, and Akwa Ibom.
Our thematic areas of work include Alternative Care of Children, Family Strengthening, Youth Development, and Humanitarian Response.
SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria is offering an incredible opportunity to young people (18 – 29 years) resident in FCT, Lagos, Ogun, Kwara, Abia, Imo, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Plateau and Borno states, who are looking to secure a decent job or build a successful business.
The Entrepreneurship and Employability Training (EET) will equip youths (50% female) with demand-driven skills for employability and entrepreneurship success.
Participants in this training will receive,
1. A 10-day Job Readiness Skills Training (for the Employability Track)
2. 3-month Internship Placement with Stipends (for the Employability Track)
1. A 10-day Entrepreneurship Skills Training (for the Entrepreneurship Track)
2. Mentoring and Coaching for Winners (for the Entrepreneurship Track)
3. Both Training tracks will be conducted online
4. Each participant is expected to register for one track only
5. Participants in both training tracks who successfully completes their trainings and presents their certificates will receive data reimbursement stipends.

Application is on a rolling basis. However, applications for the this stream will end by 10th July
