Strengthening Child Care and Protection Systems in Nigeria (SCPSN)

About the Project

Why SCPSN Matters

Across many communities in Nigeria, harmful traditions, weak systems, and limited institutional capacity continue to expose children to abuse, exploitation, neglect, and unsafe forms of care. The SCPSN project responds to these challenges by strengthening national, state, and community-based child care and protection systems.

The project supports the implementation of the Child Rights Act, promotes quality alternative care, and advances the de-institutionalization of child care, ensuring that children grow up in safe, family-based environments.
